ORGANIC COTTON

From November 2019 onwards the lining for all our bags is made from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified organic cotton in our signature turquoise colour. An exception is made for functional and hygienic reasons, in styles such as our wallets, toiletry bags and nappy bags where we are using a water-resistant taffeta nylon.

The cotton is grown according to strict regulations which limit the use of toxic bleaches, dyes and other chemical inputs like harmful pesticides or fertilisers during the production process of textiles to preserve soil health. Worldwide recognized requirements ensure the organic status of the cotton, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, this also guarantees that the employees work in a safe and healthy environment with the following social criteria topics.

Working hours are not excessive

No discrimination is practised
