2012 LAUNCH
ZEMP Leathers was founded 2012 in Cape Town and traded originally under the name Jinger Jack. The initial range consisted of bespoke leather belts and evolved into the largest collection of leather goods in South Africa.
2016 DESIGN SAFARI™
The ZEMP DESIGN SAFARI™ launched in 2016 – a platform to showcase collaborations with designers and other creative minds, intertwined with ZEMP’s highest quality of artistry, bringing wallets to weekenders, and other truly unique designs in-between to our customers.
2019 SUSTAINABILITY
A new chapter started in 2019 when a code of conduct was developed that lead to the introduction of organic cotton lining and compostable satchels. This was a world first, as well as restructuring the supply chain that ensures strict compliance with sustainable principles. ZEMP embraced this new code and is proud to fly the flag of sustainability.
